来源:Use these holders to secure your rotary broach in a lathe, milling machine, or CNC machine. They position your broach at a 1° angle to create a shearing effect on the part as the broach goes in, transforming round holes into complex shapes. Adjustable holders work with a wider range of cutting machines, broaches, and hole sizes than nonadjustable holders. However, they’re less accurate and require more setup time to remain centered as the broach cuts into the hole. Nonadjustable holders are more accurate and faster to set up than adjustable holders, but only work with specific broaches and high-precision cutting machines. They’re known as Swiss-style holders.
